In order to convince others effectively of the saving, keeping power of God, we need to know Him ourselves personally.
God can’t use us as He pleases until we are set apart unto Him. The fruit of the Spirit and the life of faith and obedience are the foundation on which we are enabled to tell others about Jesus.
Our sin must be confessed and forsaken for us to effectively share Him with others. Our hearts’ desire must be for Him and His kingdom, not the world.

Salvation is about knowing a Person (Jesus), not about going to a place (heaven). Salvation is not about where you go; it’s about Who you know.

As we pray for opportunities to share the Gospel, it is important to take advantage of those opportunities when they come.
Have a positive approach and keep the conversation friendly, positive, and constructive as much as possible.
Assume that friends and strangers want to hear the Gospel from you. If you look for a reason not to share with them, you will find it every time.

We cannot argue someone into God’s family. We must be courteous when sharing the Gospel and trust God alone to do the saving.

Ask them, “What will you do right now with what Jesus did for you?” or “What is keeping you from trusting Jesus right now?”

While there is nothing wrong with expressing the emotion of fear, we should not allow it to keep us from doing all that God’s will demands.
We struggle with fear mostly because we don’t know what will happen when we share the Gospel. God does know, and we can trust Him.
When we are afraid of others rejecting us, we are making the Gospel about us instead of Jesus.
We should be more concerned about what God thinks about people than being concerned with what people think about us. We should love God and others more than ourselves. Ask God for that kind of love and faith.
When we share the Gospel with someone, it is important that we listen when they talk. It is rude to talk over them.
For the sake of courtesy, testimony, relationship, and understanding, it is good that we listen more than we speak when telling others of Christ.
There’s a good chance that unbelievers are not familiar with biblical terms or Christian vocabulary. It is very important to define our terms in order to be understood.
We should take our time when sharing the Gospel so the unbeliever understands the message.
Ofttimes when sharing Christ, the unbeliever will try to turn the conversation away from the Gospel. We should do our best to keep the conversation focused on the Gospel and their response to it.
God knew what He was doing when He chose us to be His mouthpiece. He created in us the skills, strengths, personalities, weaknesses, and backgrounds to accomplish the personalized ministry that He has for us. Trust Him to use you!
We cannot honor God by deceit, but by integrity. We shouldn’t pretend to be something we are not, or think or feel something we really do not; such will become evident to the hearer.
Which friend or family member still needs to hear the Gospel from you?
When we do only what feels comfortable to us, we are trusting ourselves instead of God.
God wants to use you to reach specific people whom He has in mind to receive the Gospel.
Who has God allowed you to see trust in Jesus as a result of you sharing the Gospel with them?
We reap what we sow, where we sow, and in proportion to what we sow. Therefore, our evangelism fruit is related to the amount of work we accomplish.
Success in evangelism isn’t measured by how many people we save, since we don’t save anyone- only Jesus saves souls.
Success in evangelism is measured by obedience. God alone does the saving, but we must do the preaching.
We share the Gospel because He is worthy, not because it seems worth it. Since He is worthy evangelism is always worth while in His view. Anything worth doing takes hard work.
Practice makes permanent. The more we share the Gospel, the more we understand how to better share the Gospel.
We tend to get discouraged when we “mess up” sharing the Gospel. The only way to “mess up” is by not sharing at all or sharing out of a wrong attitude.
The worst thing anyone could say about us is not as bad as what is actually true about us. Jesus truly knows us, but He willingly died for us anyway.
The worst thing that could ever happen to us already happened to Jesus on our behalf when He was on the cross. We must not let fear keep us from sharing the Gospel message!
Evangelism is an opportunity to worship God. May we bring Him honor and glory to the fullest!
Praise God for the privilege He gives us to share His Gospel of salvation! Let’s humbly encourage others to share with those around them.
The joy with which God fills our hearts moves us to care about the lost around us.

The hardest part of the conversation is starting it. Ask God to give you the words to say, then step out by faith, and speak.
There are innumerable false philosophies and religions. Don’t think you need to know everything about others’ views before you share the Gospel.
If you’re worried about speaking inaccurately, don’t. This will happen from time to time. You are not perfect, but God wants to use you as you are.
