Consider memorizing one of the following passages (in whichever translation you prefer) as a summary of this lesson: Romans 5:12 (NKJV) or Romans 6:23 (NASB) or Revelation 20:14-15 (KJV) or Revelation 21:8 (ESV).

We should avoid asking “yes or no” questions as they can be confusing or manipulative when sharing the Gospel.

As we seek to help others understand a Bible verse, we should ask questions like, “What do you think this verse means?”

While the “Bad News” about death must be explained when sharing the Gospel, it always must be spoken in the context of love, not with a judgmental or arrogant attitude.

When was the last time your ears heard your mouth tell someone about Jesus Christ? Do you know what to say?

There are five points about the Gospel that people must understand in order to be saved. You can read about them here.
