Ministry Description
As missionaries, we provide evangelism training and experience to local churches, schools, other groups, and individuals. Our ministry brings the Gospel to people where they are in towns and large cities like New York City and Harrisburg. While our ministry focuses primarily on cities of Pennsylvania and Florida, our work has extended to locations in Europe. Our passion is to share Christ with the lost wherever they may be found and to train other believers to do the same.

Del & Mary Ann Benner have been missionaries with Word of Life Fellowship in the Evangelism Ministries Department since June, 1993. Saved at age 35, Del at age 49 decided to close his mechanical contracting business to attend the Word of Life Bible Institute in 1992. It was on his student ministry open-air evangelism trip to NYC that God broke his heart for the people he was meeting, people that didn't know enough Gospel to be saved. He and Mary Ann, who had come to Christ at age 30, went forward at the 1993 WOL Missions Conference, committing to go wherever God wanted them. All these years later, they can't imagine doing anything other than what God has allowed them to do as full-time witnesses for Christ with WOL. They continue training and taking WOL Bible Institute student and church teen and adult groups on ministry trips, utilizing sketch board messages, literature distribution, prayer stations, and object lessons to share the Gospel. Witnessing Workshops are also a priority. Their desire is to help equip each believer to share Jesus effectively.
They have four adult children: Asher, Nason, Aaron, & Adele; ten grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. Harrisburg, PA has been their home since 1968. Married November 23, 1965, they are so very BLESSED! II Corinthians 4:1-7 are their life verses with verse 5 being key:
“For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.”
