WHAT DO WE TELL?
1) The Holiness of God
God is infinite in all His attributes and ways which sets Him apart from all things common, unclean, and evil. None of us is like Him.

2) The Sinfulness of Mankind
We miss the mark of being holy like God, because we are born with hearts opposed to God.
Job 15:14-16; Proverbs 20:9; Ecclesiastes 7:20; Isaiah 53:6a; Isaiah 64:6; Jeremiah 13:23; Jeremiah 17:9; Matthew 5:21-22; Matthew 5:27-30; Romans 3:10-12; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:19; James 2:10; I John. 3:4; 1 John 3:15
3) The Penalty of Sin
Because our sinfulness renders us undeserving of being in God’s presence, we are separated from Him at birth and destined to spend eternity apart from Him in the Lake of Fire.

4) Christ Took our Punishment
He is the Son of God who came to earth, being fully God and fully man. Although He never sinned, He died, shedding His blood on the cross in our place. He was buried and rose again.
Leviticus 17:11; Isaiah 53:4-6; Daniel 9:26a; Daniel 12:2; Matthew 19:26; Matthew 27:46; John 10:15; John 14:6; John 17:3; John 17:4; Acts 4:12; Acts 26:18; Romans 5:6-10; I Corinthians 15:1-8; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 2:5-10; I Peter 2:24; I Peter 3:18; 1 John 3:5
5) Our Need to Repent and Believe
We must turn from whatever is keeping us from trusting in Jesus as Savior, and believe that His payment was sufficient to establish our acceptance by God the Father forever.
