God is Holy
God is Holy (Infinitely perfect, right, and good on every level at all times). As such, He is the Creator and Keeper of all.
Isa 6:3- “And one cried to another and said: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole world is full of His glory!’ ”
We are all Sinners
Each of us says, does, and thinks things that are against the holy character of God, because it’s our nature to do so.
Rom 3:10- “None is righteous, no, not one,”
Sin Must be Punished
We don’t deserve to be in the presence of God’s holiness by anything we can be or do.
Rom 6:23- “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life.”
Jesus, God in Human Form, Paid the Penalty for Sin
Jesus shed His blood, died on the cross, and rose again in our place for our sin.
Rom 5:8- “But God showed his love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
We can Know God and Be with Him Forever
The moment we have faith in Jesus Christ alone to save us from the guilt and price of our sin, sincerely claiming His forgiveness, He accepts us, never to leave us.
Rom 10:9- “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Eph 2:8 & 9- “For by grace you have been saved through faith, And this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God, not a result of works so that no one may boast.”
